Designed for enthusiasts of any age, in this option we will work together on finding ways to refine and improve your playing. In your individual lessons we will focus on the pieces you bring with you, as well as introducing you to new repertoire and ideas for developing your practice and musicianship. You can learn from watching others play in masterclasses, or you can choose to find like-minded flute players to play duets, trios and quartets with. You will have access to all the established OFSS experiences including ensembles, flute choir and concerts. Oxford Players is for anyone who enjoys playing with others, learning from and watching masterclasses and would appreciate the experience of individual lessons with your flute teacher and with your accompanist rather than performing in a masterclass or concert.

    You are advised to insure against cancellation or illness as fees are not refundable.

    Upon receipt of your application we will send you our bank details for payment of a non-refundable deposit of £150. Balance is payable by 1 July 2024. Payments from outside the UK must be free of all charges.

    We prefer payments to be made by bank transfer. We regret we cannot accept credit or debit card payments. Places booked here will be held for you for a maximum of one week, until we receive the deposit.

    Payments by cheque must be in UK pounds, payable to Oxford Flute Summer School, and sent by post to: 12 Jesse Terrace, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 7RT, England.
